sometimes I think about how I don't get what I deserve for working my ass off helping others when there are obviously people who are of the same competency as me but gets lesser work assigned
then I think about RV who also worked their ass off by releasing 4 quality albums + 1 tour in 2018 alone and yup.
I am just a tiny seaweed in the vast ocean who just screams at fishes crossing my boundaries when there are obviously bigger whales dying above me.
Not a good metaphor but ok you get me right.
Sometimes I don't know how to react when I meet a computer illiterate.
I'm not sure if me beingoverexposed to computers at a very young age is a good or bad thing because damn I swear my patience level improves every week except during sensitive times such as VIP Ms Stomach's meal time.
How do people not know how to crack software by themselves. Even though there's clearly a tutorial in Youtube or like there's always an instruction guide when you download these stuffs right.
There is clear step by step guide but OK FINE I WILL DO IT FOR YOU CALMLY WITH A SUBTLE HINT OF GOD-DAMN-YOU-DUM-

or when my colleague thinks her PC has a problem so I just asked her to replace her PC which is the default answer I give to everyone when I couldn't be bothered lolol.
Actually she turned on object snap in CAD so she couldn't snap the lines she wanted and she was 100% convinced her PC has problems.
Sometimes I don't know whether I'm the youngest in the office because I think I aged at least 5 years whenever I face these "problems".
So sometimes I'll bake some cakes during the weekends and bring some to office for my colleagues to try and critic kan so my senior engineer pestered my housemate too.
At that moment I just laughed it off since it didn't really matter to me during our conversation but when I thought of it after a while..
Poor people don't have air-conditioners in their houses tqvm.
Excuse me for being salty af HAHAHA BUT HOW AM I CONSIDERED AS RICH WHEN I HAVE AN OVEN AT HOME WITH 0 A/C BUT SHE HAS AN A/C IN EVERY ROOM OF HER HOUSE.

also since I'm the only banana in the office, they actually asked me what do we bananas usually talk about because obviously Chinese speakers and English speakers have totally different sense of humour so our jokes would be entirely different but ?!?! IT'S JUST DIFFERENT LANGUAGE WHEN IT COMES TO DAILY CONVERSATIONS RIGHT??????
now whenever they tell me about something or bother/tease me because I'm tired to argue with them and my Mandarin vocabulary is limited and omg they ask you so many questions until I no longer have the energy to entertain them anymore.

I find it difficult to communicate with pure Chinese school background like both SJKC or Chinese independent or whatever that has no relations to SK and ultimate banana SMK.
Maybe it's just me la Idk.
But sometimes I just want to feed them with banana leaf rice with extra curry and just yell at them CAN YOU BE MORE MALAYSIAN AND NOT SO CHINESE.
There's obviously more stories behind this but I fear it would be kinda sensitive to say it out so I'll just rest my case here and wish them the best.
Now on a happier note, they were curious about how my colleague records his expenses everyday so he said he got to know about the app from me because yeah I'm probably the only one who records my expenses daily with an app.
So I opened the app for them and they went through my records and I didn't bother at first cause whatever lah. I separated my budget into a few categories like food, entertainment, household etc. so I can put a budget of RM400 into food expenses.
WTF HAHAHAHA

To the friends whom I've lost contact or going to lose contact soon (choy),
Please go out more often with your friends. With me. Or anyone else when someone calls you out. Please be more sociable especially when you're still young in this day and age. Please don't turn into a lifeless person like my colleagues lol. It's not healthy to spend your life in the office and communicate with only your colleagues.
In fact, it's toxic.
I am genuinely worried for you. Like are you ok guys are you alive are you stressed how are you. Just. You know, message me if you need an extra ear. I'm always listening. Except during working and sleeping hours but rest be assured I will try my best to give you appropriate replies or none at all if you just need someone to listen.
Don't spend your entire youth studying and working.
It's not worth it, guys :( both time-wise and money-wise.
I know you can't afford to fail that subject or that paper or whatever task you're assigned, but yeah. Take a short break and have good quality rest, spend more quality time with your family or friends. Don't let that relationship deteriorate until it's no longer a relationship to begin with.
I experienced it first hand and it's not nice to have a father that doesn't act like a parental figure.
Don't regret your actions when you look back at it.

Now that I already got my salary, it's heartwarming to buy CNY clothes for my parents. My father included (his was expensive ok this uncle only wears comfortable polos).
And spending my weekends with my mum, just accompanying her shopping for groceries or whatever she wants to do since I'm now staying in Cyber and only come back home on weekends.
You see, it's nice to spend some time with family and friends. At least it makes me feel like I have no regrets at what I've done.
The only thing I regret is working overtime everyday lol. Even though I don't have control over it but *sigh* I hate arrogant architects.
