there's a new girl in office!!! admin la, not engineer. She's a Kayan from Sarawak so technically she speaks English. PLUS POINTS! So I started small talks with her first because she seems like someone who's more comfortable in English instead of Mandarin and our admin speaks to her in English also. The rest of my colleagues said they were "shy" and " aren't good in English" when I asked them to start a conversation with her -.- They literally said it themselves when I asked them like hey why aren't you guys talking to her when we went out for lunch. So I fired them with well I am not good in Mandarin myself and they were like ohhhh you're different. WHAT SMACK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! now I think I said before that I'm not that talkative in the office, but it depends on people or the atmosphere really, like I'll get the conversation going if it's a comfortable discussion in Mandarin of course, but ...
