GOOD DAY, PEEPS.
It's been approximately 1.5 year since I got my ass in the office to contribute to the society as a worthless piece of junk.
Let's summarize!
Work
Work has been kind to me so far. I cannot express how grateful am I to have such a great mentor :< but I still cannot imagine myself working up to that level at the age of 40+ as a mother with 2 kids.
The amount of stress and responsibilities, no joke man. This career path suckssssssssssss the life out of you.
So far I've not yet stepped on anyone's tail and I did not dip myself into the ocean of messy office politics yet but yeah I'm not sure because I have an upcoming presentation to the team leaders about the Prota software.
Prota is a pretty new software that is actually upgraded and evolved from the same engineers of Orion software, but I'm the only one using Prota so far in the office because everyone else uses Esteem or Orion.
My team uses Esteem.
I tried.
I cannot.
I want to.
I don't know why I have to connect to another cloud server before I can actually use Esteem. Which magically DISCONNECTS my PC everyday.
So I had to ask the IT guy to help me fix it every time.
I think he got tired of me lol.
I also got tired of myself having to ask him fix it so many freaking times so I just used Prota instead since it's the only software available in my PC and he doesn't allow me to install Orion.
Ok.
So.
Since our office bought the actual license for it, my boss asked other teams to use Prota as well, and since hey we have someone who knows how to use it!!
They asked me to present a simple tutorial of it.
Basically I was asked to "present a simple tutorial" of the software to almost every team leader in the office. Also known as the higher ups. The important people in the office. The engineers with literally more than 10 years of experience.
Ya Allah.
Please pray for my well being tq.

Relationship
So far so good. Not married yet. Plan to get married. Will let you guys know for sure please stop asking lolol.
We celebrated our 5th anniversary last month.
Booked a simple cozy Airbnb.
Played Overcooked with the laptop connected to the TV with our cheap wireless gaming consoles (stressfully).
Bought a good slab of steak from the grocer and cooked ourselves a fine exquisite dinner.
Planned to get alcohol and then I was like nope no more alcohol, let's just make hot cocoa and we did.
Watched Ratatouille sipping on hot chocolate.
Yup.
Quality time.
I don't need fancy stuffs. I don't need no fancy diamond rings. Don't understand the bling bling behind it HAHAH just give me a custom wooden ring and I'll swoon.
Please don't get me flowers. Cash >>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
But it's nice to see couples having their own way of approach. I mean if you guys enjoy going on a vacation then yeah go ahead! If you prefer gifts as a way of appreciation then yeah go ahead! Everyone has their own approach, so you do you and I do me.
It's easy to get in a relationship but it's really hard to stay in one. I've always admired Cheung Chilam and his wife Anita Yuen aiyoh seriously they're so cute lah.
Anyway.
Yeah! We'll get to it! DON'T CHUI ME LAH OK CHILL.
We went to a gathering with our uni mates the other day and they were asking each couple 1 by 1 when are they getting married lol.

Personal
I have been very obsessed with my finances now.
Last year I've set myself a target goal of 20k for investments but it only reached RM19,634.15 but it's worth RM21,640.81 at the end of 2019.
This year my goal is to achieve 35k but I'm not sure if it's possible with my Tokyo trip lol.
I also got myself a secondhand iPad + pencil for RM1.8k from WC's sister, my 5 years old laptop is very shitty now, it keeps freezing and the battery can only last up to an hour.
So I figured since I no longer need a laptop for work (or if I do, I can always borrow my Dad or WC's) I should just get a tablet instead.
Plus Mum can use it too when her Astro is out due to weather disruptions lolol.
SO OKAY IT'S WORTH IT.
I've placed my funds in FD, stocks and StashAway.
Again, I cannot stress this enough that you shouldn't keep all your savings in the bank because inflation rate will eat you up and shit you out like diarrhea so badly.
I've watched enough Youtube videos to understand that I'm losing money instead if I keep it in the bank!!! Hahahaha

My expenses are about 50% of my salary so the other 50% I'll usually keep RM500 in my savings account because of the T&C for high interest rate and the rest of it into investments to get higher returns.
Just so you know that we're in the midst of recession so now is like the absolute best time to put your extra money into investments before the economic curve bounces up..
I also no longer believe in property investments with the SUPER OVER supply in condos right now and we're not even at the peak yet!! There are still more incoming!!
I feel like it's much cheaper to rent a unit than to lock yourself into a 35 freaking years of mortgage loan + SPA + lawyer fees + downpayment + maintenance fees + insurance.
Who knows there might be problems during construction and then you'll never get the keys!!!
Rent forever!!!!!!!
Don't put all your trust in me because who knows property value will double in the next 10 years so your 35 years hell loan may be worth it after all.
