El Cheapo
My salary! Just got restored! After like what, half a year?

I'm not sure if it will still be maintained with the current CMCO or such.
So.
At least I'm still employed I guess.
This covid thing sucks. It's been half a year but no signs of improvement (thank you, politics) and in fact the cases are actually a lot worse than before but at least half of us are now following SOPs.
There are sooooooo many cases surrounding my office lol.
An apartment just 5 mins walk away from my office had like 20+ cases.

The fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.
But money > life so unfortunately my mindset has changed from I don't want to die so early to yes please infect me so I can get excused for 2 weeks.
Is it just me or is blogger no longer gif-friendly as it used to be when I could have just CTRL+C AND CTRL+V previously and now I have to go to the HTML freaking view??!?!?
Or maybe I'm just old and hate learning to adapt HAHAHAH.
There are soooooooooo many casessssssssssssss.
This sucksssssssssssssssssssssssss.
I want to go to my weekly gym and workouttttttttttttttttttttt.
Working out at home sucks because I never have the mood to do so and I ended up doing them half assed and just gave up.
I skipped going to the park after work because with the current situation, I think it's best if I go to the shower immediately when I reached home.
Also, my phone got snatched when I was walking otw back from the MRT. Fortunately, it was about time to change the useless Huawei phone. It's not as expensive as an iPhone so it's okay.

HAHAHA.
Anyway this is what happened.
Sometimes when the weather's fine, I'll walk home from the MRT station because I have been skipping working out and yes having a desk job doesn't help so as usual, I'll put my phone at my back pocket and carry my old dirty looking tote bag that contains just my lunch box, pads, MRT + office pass, <RM20 cash and umbrella.
So I was already almost home like a mere 1 minute away from my house, walking beside the main road, opposing car direction. I crossed the T-junction and this motor saw me and just decided to make a u-turn and snatched my phone away from my back pocket.
I was stunned.
Obviously I did not try to kick and punch the 2 fellas on motor because I didn't know how to react and what if they have a knife?!?!
So I just stood there and glared at them lol wtf and continued walking home while grabbing my tote bag as tightly as possible.
My reaction can be summed up as below:-
1. HOLY SHIT MY PHONE. MY PHONE!!
2. OK THEY'RE GONE.
3. It's ok, just a Huawei with cracked screen.
4. Oh shit I should have remembered their plate number.
5. Okay you know what, let's fast walk home and make sure they don't come for my bloody IC.
6. Oh shit no my data T_T
Then I told my mama and she chuckled and was like HA?? Where?? When?? Aiyo nvm I'll buy you a new phone for your birthday.
So I told my colleague ASAP in case I can't come to work tomorrow, ate my dinner, logged out of all my accounts that's connected to my phone, drove to Ekocheras and got the cheapest Samsung phone available.
I wanted to get Redmi but it seemed like there's no official store nearby and the price difference is only like what 80 bucks so I settled with Samsung because it's more credible hahahaha.
It costs RM519 in case you're wondering.

Yeah. I figured since I don't use it for heavy usage; play games/watch videos/take photos etc I'll just get the cheapest one and see how long it'll last me haha.
It's good so far. I mean it works like a normal smartphone, battery is fine too. Could last me 2 days with full battery.
I'm mostly on my broken laptop when I'm home so hahahah call me El Cheapo.
