ZE END OF INTERNSHIP

Image
YAS. ME DONE. FINAL YEAR AYAM KAMBING 4 U. So I drank beer for 3 nights in a row lol. The first one was on Wednesday night where we 3 newbies in the office went to have dinner at Bangsar. Another colleague decided to ffk so it's us 3 again and we were the 3 freshest meat in the office that just entered 4 months ago. So we went to Setiawalk's The Beer Factory for a pint and agreed that we will not tell our colleagues that we went for a drink after dinner so okay. The next day we had dinner with our bosses to celebrate the end of 2017! Then our big boss said "Round 2 guys? Who's going later? The Beer Factory okay?" "MM HMM. YES. Okay! Sure!" *looks at each other* "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas ok." We ended up drinking in Museum instead because TBF didn't have enough seats for us. THEN yesterday night my eldest sis ordered beer too to celebrate my 2nd sis' birthday lol. Goodness. I had diarrhea ...

GOODBYE 2017.

Hello!  Since 2017 is ending I would like to do a recap of it. 1. Quitting Facilitation Programme. It was and will always be the best memory of my entire university life. It became the worst memory too at some times. I didn't want to remain as a member because I believe they would continue to grow and improve themselves much better without my nosy opinions lol. It was mentally and physically exhausting to be the leader of the programme. I've gained a lot of friends but in return I may have lost some as well but all is well now. Still in touch with some of my closest friends there and yes, I'm really proud to see the programme grow from day 1 because we're the first batch to run it. However, since it's much bigger now with hundreds of members, I do hope that they will not be too stressed about it, and love the journey instead of just achieving things. Oh well! None of my business anymore! So this year I had a LOT of spare time HAHAHA. 2. Sekeping trip...

HELLO I AM HERE WITH SOME INTERESTING JOKES Y'ALLZ PLS LAUGH. So there's a newly opened food court near my office and they had RM1 for all drinks promotion. Yeah so obviously we went there to eat kan and ordered a bunch of drinks which we rarely ordered because we're fucking cheapskate engineers. Like normal food courts, they'll have beers in the fridge kan. My colleagues decided to ask the boss if beer's included as well HAHAHA DAMN STUPID. We're really friendly with the boss because WE EAT THERE ALMOST EVERYDAY YOU KNOW SO SIEN!!!! "Eh boss, all drinks RM1 right?"   "Yeah!"   "Including those?" *points towards alcoholic drinks*  "Walao no lah.." Then our big boss passed by to tapao dinner for himself so we greeted him. He's really chill and funny lol we rarely talked to him but he's just really goofy and funny.  "Mr ___! Drinks RM1 eh!"   "Eh? Really ah? So good?...

Internship 1/4

I've completed the first month of my internship! Just 3 more months to go! Omg 3 more months to go man WHY DOES UCSI HAVE TO GIVE US 8 MONTHS OF INTERNSHIP WHY CAN'T WE JUST DO 2 x 3 MONTHS INSTEAD. Anyway, so far so good. I'm helping my colleagues with structural design mostly. And also of course the major shit tons of the usual intern/officegirl/photostat-er paperwork stuff. Like I spent a whole day to print and scan the entire design calculation reports for 3 types of project that totaled to almost two thousand pages. But HEYYYYY MY COLLEAGUE TREATED ME STARBUCKS :D Woop!! He's supposed to bring the entire shit to Kuching and he's like wtf how am I gonna bring this into the plane but at last he didn't have to HAHAHA he was so glad. The thing about civil is what you do in consultant firm is exactly what you learned in the last 2 years of uni. Notice how I mentioned LAST 2 YEARS because the first 2 years are total shit and total waste of time HAHAHA...

First week of intern

I'm currently interning at Puchong!!! It's a civil consultancy company located DEEP inside Puchong where it takes me 1 hour to reach lol. So I stayed at the apartment that the company provided. It's been great so far! So accommodation-wise I didn't expect them to provide me free hostel, I just told the HR that I'm still considering because of my transportation and immediately she tells me that oh their company actually provides free hostel for their staffs. OMG. OK NO PROBLEM MAN. I have to pay the shared utilities of course. I'm actually supposed to stay in the small room alone but 1 staff left, and another 2 came so I'm currently staying in the master bedroom with a fresh graduate who also just started working 1 month before me. The small room will be used by another stranger Idk because long story I'm too lazy to explain. Yay! The rooms are still pretty small lah but free mah so like that lor. There's no Wi-fi so usually I'...

RUSH KL 2.0

Image
Joined RUSH KL 2.0 today! As a PARTICIPANT like FINALLY HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN AN EVENT COMMITTEE ALREADY. OH MY GOD WE GOT THIRD PRIZE HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!! We didn't really expect much because we didn't complete a lot of stations compared to other teams. Basically it's like the last event I organised, except the concept has been changed to a food hunt in KL instead. They divided into 4 different areas; Bangsar, Bukit Bintang, Pasar Seni and around UCSI (+ Leisure Mall). Originally we wanted to head to Bangsar (the furthest stop) but we changed our minds last minute in the train and got down at Bukit Bintang instead. There were 5 stations around BB if I'm not wrong but we skipped 1 of it because it was too far. So we Uber-ed and walked all the way. The games were pretty good, as usual la nothing much to comment kan. Just that the food took pretty long to serve so a lot of time got wasted there especially that 1 stop where it took ...

Krabi mou 3D2N

Image
Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I just came back from Krabi with muscles aching from all parts of my body. So I went there with 2 other couples for 3 days 2 nights. The weather forecast showed thunderstorms for all 3 days so we were pretty worried.. but fortunately it didn't rain when we played. Day 1: Reached Krabi in the morning, got our SIM card + unlimited data for 3 days, only 100 baht. Booked minivan for the 6 of us, 3000 baht for 8 hours. Spent the whole 8 hours in Emerald Pool, Hot Springs and Tiger Cave Temple. The Blue Lagoon in Emerald Pool was closed because of breeding season :( it was actually the highlight of the place but too bad :( Hot Springs wasn't that nice HAHHA okay lah, but we had to pay 200 baht per entry so it's like.......... not really worth it for me lah. The food outside though omg they sold fried chicken and grilled chicken like the Japanese kind and it's like heavennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. DAMN NICEEEEEEEEEEE...
