Singapore 3D2N trip!

Image
Went to Singapore during the long weekend!!!! - Damage for bus tickets: RM85 both ways We opted for the late night 1am bus and reached around 8am? Yeah it was pretty congested haha long weekend mah. At least we're not driving. WC's dad and sister are working in Singapore so we stayed there during our trip. Put our belongings in the house first and washed up before going out again. So we went to Jewel Changi airport first because of the beeyootipool waterfall. There's actually light show at night but I wanted to see GBTB at night so.. yeah. It's still pretty in the morning though!! I mean, the light show just enhances the beauty of it just like how make up does to you gurlz HAHA ok. Omg the shoes available in Singapore arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Why can't KL have such nice colorways too :( Then we went to ParkRoyal on Pickering but we can't really see the whole thing. We only saw how magnificent it was until we took the bus and viewed it from...

Met up with these bunch of peeps again last month! Usually I'll organize a gathering every CNY but this time since everyone from my batch graduated, I decided to host another gathering! Airbnb again! Obviously there's going to be lesser and lesser people coming each time. I originally expected at least 30 will show up and I already booked the Airbnb but it turned out to be WAY lesser than I expected. So I had to immediately cancel the booking and find another smaller+cheaper one instead. LESSON LEARNT. From different batches of Facilitation Program. The "club" that shaped me for who I am today, since most of my critical thinking/ LARGE HEAVY BURDENS were very much developed during my uni days. (Also probably my darkest period HAHAHAHA) All from different courses; engineering, accounting, business, nutrition, IT. Yeah we knew each other because of the club. Professionally, I'd like to call it 'networking' but I think ...

Parasite: 9.5/10

Image
Just watched Parasite!! It got really high ratings and it's pretty famous itself in Korea so obviously why NOT watch this movie? You can't tell anything from the trailer haha. It's just a brief glimpse of the movie and it doesn't explain anything at all. Soooooooo basicallyyyyyyyyyy. These are my thoughts of it. I'll try my best not to give any spoilers. The plot basically revolves about the huge gap between the rich and the poor in the society. Maybe it's more prominent in Korea since there are so many dramas about it lol. This movie is dark. It first started off as a light comedy but it got darker as you watch it. It doesn't just describe the gap between them. It hits you in the face with the reality of it. That there is obviously a very big gap no matter how much you attempt to change it. OKAY MAJOR SPOILERS ALERT. This family of 4 tries hard to blend in with the 'rich' by doing whatever it takes to do so. This involves faking it...

FI/RE!

So I'm 1 week into my new workplace and I already got culture shock on the first day itself hahhaa. I LITERALLY CANNOT EDIT AUTOCAD DRAWINGS. From somewhere that requires engineers to edit and draw their own bloody drawings even though the drafters are just there to pretend they're busy....... to a place that totally BANS engineers from even touching the file itself HOLY. I was so surprised I thought that the IT guy forgot to install Autocad until my superior explained to me lol. HOW WOULD I KNOW?!?! And they depend a lot on manual calculations hahahahaha fuck omg. I feel so useless. Like an intern lol back to basics 101. I guess it's somehow a good thing because we depend too much on software previously. It's also kinda bad too because manual calculations take up a loooooooooooooooot of time... Hm. So far it's okay. I usually go back around 6pm ish though my working hours is actually until 5.45pm. Takes 1 hour to reach the MRT Taman Suntex the...

Guess who just got their diving license!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAS DAZ RAIT. So my friend actually casually told us that she wants to learn diving and then I straight away  after few weeks of dilly dallying we found out that the only time we all can make it is around 1 month later so holy shit. Stop all UnNecessArY SpEnDing at ONCE. We took a bus on Wednesday night at 11pm, reached Pulau Perhentian the next morning and started our classes then. So prettayyyyyyyyyyy you knooooooowwwwwwwwww omgggggggggggggg. The water is sooooooooooooo cleeeeeeaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I can tell you it's on par with Krabi man. Like seriously I didn't expect the water to be this clear after visiting disappointing Pulau Pangkor HAHAH. 4D3N in Pulau Perhentian, approximately RM1200 for the whole package including accommodation, course, equipment rental and boat transfer to the island. Quite worth it. But just so you know we stayed in...

My last day is on 23rd this month. yEaHHH I TENDERED RESIGNATION WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I know it's weird that I'm leaving so fast even though I continued working there after internship and graduation.  But.. Yeah. I feel like it's no longer the same anymore. I don't know la. I feel like no one talks during lunch anymore. Everyone's on their phones. No one ever interacts anymore. I felt like I'm talking to 6 different statues lol. Then 2 of my seniors left and boss hired 2 fresh graduates lol. Okay. So. Then I was constantly packed with projects, packed with tasks, with things to do, from DIFFERENT LEADERS. Like there's that one day when I completed mtfking tasks 3 projects in the same day. Then there's another day where I had to do 2 different seniors' jobs at once.  When I was done and letting senior A to check the task, boss came over to discuss with senior A so I went over to senior B to let him check ANOTHER task,...

good day

Hello! Today is a productive day! I took leave today because I had a job interview hehehehe It was raining the whole day though so I had some complications But all iz well. Basically I went to print out my resumes, flew to Kepong to collect my stuffs, flew to Damansara to repair my bf's laptop, then came back to Puchong again for the job interview. Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyy Well. I was tested with some engineering questions, tough and I think I barely passed it lolol because I didn't really answered 1 of them correctly. The director said he wanted to keep the interview quick but we ended up taking almost an hour lolol. It's smaller than my current company. But you can tell that the culture is totally different there. They even shouted 'bye!' to me when I was at the door hahahaha. It seems that it's more of a open-discussion concept in the company by discussing problems and coming up with solutions together as opposed to my current's t...

I need a recharge

Image
HI GUYS I'M ALIVE!!!! I took off yesterday so it's like a 5 days holiday for me to recharge myself. Day 1 was my typical Saturday, exercising in the morning, brunch, then hang out in one of the shopping malls or whatever. Day 2 we went to Lumut, Perak because my parents wanted to go somewhere with their new car and obviously since I'll be the one driving, they can just suggest anywhere they wanted and obviously I can't say no to them either lol. I dragged WC along to be the 2nd driver of course, I can't imagine driving all the way to Perak by myself. Then my parents decided to go Pangkor Island too! Wow! See, now you know why I'm so spontaneous. IT'S ALL IN THE GENES. And so we did. We took the ferry to Pulau Pangkor! Wow! We also had a disappointing seafood lunch in Pangkor. I had high expectations for seafood in a place SURROUNDED WITH WATER but yeah. Kuala Sepetang >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...
