Bandung Graduation Trip!
I recently went to Bandung with my coursemates. I am pretty proud to say that I was the only one among 8 of us who didn't suffer from shitting/stomach problems LOL
Oh yeah.

Bangga af.
I'll just talk about the highlights of the trip because some of the attractions were a tad disappointing and I wouldn't want to offend people so-
Dusun Bambu!!
I took very little pictures this trip because my lens wasn't suited for landscape. I thought it would be good for street photography but unfortunately the places we visited were a little bare for like human street photography.
So :( my pictures were very limited.
It's basically a big area with bamboo surroundings and landscapes HAHA ok but the floating bird nest huts (you can see them in my Facebook video) were really cool.
The entrance is cheap la
Like Tangkuban Perahu!
and Kawah Putih!
Famous volcanoes in Bandung. Totally worth it because you obviously can't find them in Malaysia. It was dry season when we visited so I don't know if it's a good or bad thing because the water was pretty shallow and the sulphur smell wasn't that strong, so we didn't have to wear masks.
The weather was still really cold though like 20 degrees.
Tebing Keraton was also pretty cool because we get to see the whole Bandung landscape from the so called peak.
We took the ojek (motor taxi) up and LUCKILY WE DID OMG THE ROAD WAS SO FUCKING STEEP FOR A 30 MINUTES HIKE?!?!
We would probably need to hike at least 1 hour considering our energy levels if we didn't take the ojeks and maybe gave up halfway + another hour of cursing in Mandarin lmao.
And Cikahuripan Canyon!!
Took at least 2 hours drive + bucketful of doubtfulness because our driver didn't really know where it is and the spot is pretty hidden so obviously we couldn't find it using Google Maps so he had to get down and ask around a lot of times.
BUT WE FINALLY MADE IT!
We stopped at this kampung area and there were only 2 huts there so we were like .......... where the hell are we.
But our driver was like IT'S OKAY! YOU CAN TRUST HIM! HE WILL TAKE YOU THERE! DON'T WORRY! :D

So we followed this cute grandpa in pink baju melayu......
Down his farm....
Across the totally dried river.......
Down this pile of huge rocks.......
*insert tons of negativity*
"Where the hell are we?!"
"He calls this 1km walk?!??!"
"Is the 1km distance or displacement?!"
"This is crazy."
"Ok guys don't expect too much."
"Is he going to sell our bodies?"
"Omg I think it's in front."
"Ok DON'T EXPECT TOO MUCH GUYS."

It's so cool. Obviously we had to climb here and there and jump between the rocks but it was really cool. There was another grandpa there pushing and pulling the raft for people to take pictures and luckily there's only 1 couple besides us so we took our own sweet time taking photos.
Then we asked these grandpas to help us take group photos and they were so blur trying to use our phone HAHAHAHAHA SO CUTE!!
We gave them a bit of tips la ok since they helped us.
Ranca Upas, also a must-visit in Bandung because of the deerssssssssssssssss.

arghskjdhflsfdjsafdfkasda I COULDN'T GET MORE PICTURES BECAUSE IT WAS GOING TO RAIN :( and they avoided me because I had no carrots lol these MATERIALISTIC ANIMALS.
Lastly, Stone Garden!! We took gazillion pictures here HHAHA though it's not really that high but pictures can do wonders. Let's just imagine we hiked 3 hours to get to the peak instead of the actual 10 minutes ok.

So these are the spots that I would recommend if you wanna go to Bandung.
Our driver is an old blur uncle who smiles and tells you everywhere is "dekat" all the time even when I asked him where he stayed and he replied Kota Bandung which was 1 freaking hour drive from where he dropped us at our villas.
"Dekat saje! Takpa!"
Ok..
We had Indonesian food the first few days and the meals were really cheap even though we ate in a pretty high class restaurant or those with really nice views of Bandung, like less than RM25 per pax.
If we dined like this in KL we would probably need to fork out at least RM100 lol especially those with great views.
Then they were down 1 by 1 probably after eating too much meatballs from the baso (basically Indomie + beef balls) combined with the amount of chili they inhaled.
I didn't take a lot of beef because I wasn't supposed to haha but I tried a few of them. But I didn't dip my food in chili/sambal given because I know I'll be dead for sure eating so spicy especially when I'm not in Malaysia lol.
So we had like chicken rice and fish porridge for our last meal in Bandung HAHAHA because they were so weak from the diarrhea and didn't have the appetite to eat. My mee sua was really good though (not sure if it's because of the MSG).
The weather was so nice because we mostly went to the hilly areas so it's like Cameron.
So cooling~~~
For our first night we stayed in a bamboo villa in Lembang and I stayed in the corner lot with another 3 of my friends and fuck.
THE CHICKENSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
I slept downstairs, on the right where I'm facing their farm/garden (of course separated by the villa's bamboo wall) so IN THE MORNING WHEN THE FREAKING CHICKEN CLUCKS OH MY GOD.
I CAN HEAR THEM SO CLEARLY.
AND THE BAMBOOS OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T HELP IN NOISE CANCELLATION.
AND THERE WERE MULTIPLE FREAKING CHICKENS SO WHEN 1 OF THE "LEADER" STARTS CROWING, THE OTHERS WILL FOLLOW AND WHAT THE F THERE'S 1 PARTICULAR CHICKEN THAT WENT SO OFF PITCH!!!!!!
IT'S!!!!!!!!!!
SO!!!!!
ANNOYING!!!!!!!
AT 5AM!!!!!!!
AND THEY KEPT REPEATING EVERY FEW MINUTES!!!!
Luckily we only stayed there for a night and I took my revenge by eating plenty of chickens throughout the trip.
GOD DAMN IT HAHAHAHA

OK CHICKENS I AM AWAKE. I AM AWAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YOU CAN STOPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.
Also, when your friends try to convince you to buy weird drinks in Bandung, do not get fooled by them.
I bought these Yeos bird's nest tea and another vegetable mix packet drinks.
"Eh you see! So weird!"
"Try only lor."
*buys drinks*
"Wanna try?"
"Nope."

"Okay let me try 1 sip."
"Still want it?"
"Nope."

Very good.
In total I spent about RM1.1k for this trip including flight tickets and accommodation for 5 days 4 nights in Bandung. Okay lah.
