LEZ GEDDIT

HELLO.

I just signed up for Anytime Fitness.

It's a 24 hours gym right next to my office.

It's also my day 2 of going to the gym.

I went there before work.

HAHAHA.

This is so far all my colleagues' reaction when they asked me if I'm going to the gym since I brought a big bag.

"I went."

"You went?!"

"Yeah I went."

"When!? Lunch time?!"

"Nope."

"?! Then??"

"Before work."

Why did I sign up impulsively?

I'm helping up other teams in my workplace, so it may mean more OT for me. That means I can no longer go to the playground near my house to do my daily workouts.

I can do them at home but it sucks lol I'll slack.

Also if I go to the gym early, I can at least get a seat in the MRT, I don't have to get packed like sardines during peak hours.

More seats for me!

More parking spaces for me!

Or I can tumpang WC's car because his temporary workplace is conveniently located near mine! Yeah of course he's going to the gym as well I totally didn't force him to.

I won't have to worry about getting late to work hahaha.

Plus if I do home workouts after work, it means I'll shower very late and that sucks. I hate drying my hair.

Oh by the way, I got a pixie cut again.

Because I'm too lazy to dry my hair.

FUCKKKKKKKKKK IT'S SO TROUBLESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

So much conditioner and shampoo!!!

So much hair on the floor!!!

My hair!!!

So yeah. I've had enough. Short hair it is.

The gym has very nice shower facilities so I'm good. Though it's pretty pricey lol.

The more reasons to go everyday to not waste my hard earned dollars.

So my daily routine now would be:

5:40am - Wake up.
6:00am - Off to the gym. I usually go through the news, read some books on investment if I take the train.
7:00am - Arrive at the gym and lez geddit.
8:00am - Shower. Light breakfast.
8:30am - Hea in office until I officially start my work at 9:00am
6:00pm - Earliest clock out from office depending on my tasks. My max would be 7pm. After work I'll spend my time on Youtube/Quora/forums in the train because I can no longer brain myself.
7:00pm - Reach home, dinner etc etc.
8:30pm - Officially done for the day. Continue Youtubing depending on my mood.
9:45pm - Lights offfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff.

My ideal time to sleep is 10pm because I have to wake up early now but IT'S HARD.

I JUST STARTED THIS CRAZY SCHEDULE. I NEED SOME TIME TO ADJUST MYSELF.

Just for your info there are quite a number of people already in the gym too in the morning.

I'M NOT SIAO OK!!!!!!

I just don't want to regret 10 years later when I'm in my 30s that I didn't push myself hard enough while I still can.

Just a sum up of my expenses if you're curious or for me to look back again at my blog 5 years down the road.

RM 600 - Parents
RM 320 - Insurance
RM 180 - Gym
RM 100 - MRT Pass
RM 80 - Petrol
RM 42 - Phone
RM 150 - Weekends with WC
RM 50 - Food (I pack lunchbox to work)
RM 100 - Miscellaneous

That's about RM1,452 or approx RM1,500. It varies depending on how much I spent on myself during that month. Usually I'll spend around RM1.5k. +/- RM200 if I'm feeling frugal that month or if I want to splurge a lot. Trips are excluded of course.

That's about half of my income.

I'll allocate RM1k to my investment funds and the rest of it will be in my high interest savings account.

The normal interest is like 0.7% but RHB has promo up to 2.65% interest p.a. if you put in at least RM500 monthly for a year.

That's like RM265 of interest per year if I put in RM10k there! Plus I can just withdraw whenever I want!
