spilled milk spoiled milk

found a new band that I'm in love with. I didn't know they're the band behind 'Soul' trailer lol I mean I knew Overture was by AJR but I didn't connect the dots until their other songs came up again in my Youtube recommendations. Omg. So good. ------------------------------------------------------- Happy Chinese New Year! A little too late to wish this but whatever. Unfortunately Corona hasn't gone yet so we can't go back to Ipoh but fortunately my family are all still residing in KL. So they all came back for lunch on eve and so my family itself already 5 people kan + 3 partners + 1 monster so like 8 adults dah. We had no pork steamboat for lunch and the portion was surprisingly ngam ngam ho for the first time lol. It's usually too much kan because y'know, steamboat mah. Usually we'll use the normal square Ikea table + another foldable table to fit the 8 of us. Later at night my sister said we should get a new table because our existing tabl...

HAPPY NEW YEAR! It's 2021 now! and I'm 25 now! Holy fuck now! As always, a recap of last year. Global Issues Well. Covid happened. So..................... there goes everything. Career I am slowly losing my mind and patience over everything hahahahaha. I swear developers are a pain in the ass. Everything they want is always ASAP or tomorrow, whichever faster -.-. I have a pretty good superior but my office can be quite political because of this Leo guy who acts worse than a woman on menopause.. My superior is a good person and good worker in general but I'm not very comfortable about her ability to juggle work and kids hahahaha Idk la I'm probably biased because my mom's a full time housewife.   I look at her and she's stressed and struggling to hold her shit together and then she goes back and still has to be a good mother and raise her 2 kids and I'm not sure where or how she releases all the pent-up stress. Probably accidentally sliced her kids sometimes...

I'm not sure if this pandemic has changed my life for the better or worse (considering that I did not get infected) I can't work from home. Which sucks but my heart is quite balanced now since they just restored back my salary but kept the working time to 9am-4.30pm just like during MCO although the engineers still work until 5pm~6pm ish anyway because work can never finish. I'm usually done with my job by 4.30pm but I still have to wait for my superior because it doesn't feel right haha (fuck Asian culture) On the bright side I'm usually home by 7pm. But I can't work out or go to the gym like I used to, so I had to resort in waking up 20 minutes earlier everyday so I could do a light workout before I get ready for work. It's not the best because I want to sleep more but I also feel guilty for sitting on a chair for freaking 16 hours daily. I still commute to work because I want to bring everyone down with me since I can't work from home hehehehe. I stil...

My salary! Just got restored! After like what, half a year? I'm not sure if it will still be maintained with the current CMCO or such. So. At least I'm still employed I guess. This covid thing sucks. It's been half a year but no signs of improvement (thank you, politics) and in fact the cases are actually a lot worse than before but at least half of us are now following SOPs. There are sooooooo many cases surrounding my office lol.  An apartment just 5 mins walk away from my office had like 20+ cases. The fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. But money > life so unfortunately my mindset has changed from I don't want to die so early to yes please infect me so I can get excused for 2 weeks. Is it just me or is blogger no longer gif-friendly as it used to be when I could have just CTRL+C AND CTRL+V previously and now I have to go to the HTML freaking view??!?!? Or maybe I'm just old and hate learning to adapt HAHAHAH. There are soooooooooo many casessssssssssssss. This sucksss...

Bad week baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad week. I got yelled at on the phone because of these aggressive/impatient owners who wanted to do renovation works but I told them they cannot do it without our endorsed letter. 2 different owners yelling for at least 15 minutes what the f. I put down my phone to take a deep breath and drink some water lol.  "THE CONTRACTORS ARE HERE ALREADY!! WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO?! I PAID SO MUCH FOR THE CONDO NOW I CAN'T DO ANYTHING!! WHY DO I NEED YOUR APPROVAL?! NOW I HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER RM500! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TIME I WASTED?!?" F U C K K K K K K K E R. You are also wasting my precious working time by holding me for 30 minutes listening to your lecture then you blame me for being slow. Those are our shear walls you're hacking!!!!!!!!!!! 10 YEARS DOWN THE ROAD, IT WILL MAKE A VERY VISIBLE CRACK ON THE WALL AND HERE COMES YOUR ASS WHINING AGAIN AND THEN NOW THE CRACK WOULD BE MY FAULT INSTEAD BECAUSE YOU RENOVATED AND DAMAGED MY WALL????? I'd ...

I'm back to my usual daily commute to work :( but our working hours changed from 9 - 4.30pm. However, my salary is still not back to normal I guess. I also lost my bicycle lock. I have no idea where the hell it dropped so................ I still cycle to MRT everyday, but I might change it to an alternate day basis because my car battery might get weaker if I don't use it too much lol. It's kinda disgusting when I get all sweaty after cycling so I have to change my shirt when before I enter the train. Also I keep all my valuable things in a fanny pack around my back and the rest of my stuffs in a tote bag hanging around my bike. So I basically look like a cheapskate messenger lol. I think I lost weight and muscle mass because I couldn't workout much these few months. Hmm. I made wholemeal bread rolls!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoooooooooooooooooo~ Sometimes you can never follow recipes because Idk whether it's the weather or our flour is different etc because...

Yo! Met up with the gang yesterday and had HaiDiLao for the first time. We went to Velocity at 4pm+, there was no queue but we were waiting outside for YX to come. So we could already get a table when she arrived. Ordered few plates of meat, no seafood of course. 1 vegetable, 1 fried buns, 1 fish skin crisps, 2 portions of fine noodles (not the la mien), total was about RM66 per pax. Cheaper than I expected because we were pretty full and satisfied. I was actually expecting it to be at least 80 because it's HDL and we ate until we're content lol. We were probably full from the soup and desserts la. The Ma La is so good though although it's exactly the same as the instant soup base you get in supermarkets hahahahahaha. It's okay la once in a blue moon. If you want a cheaper option then by all means just get the soup base from supermarket and you can dump whatever ingredients you wish to eat with half the price. I got a new Huawei Mediapad during MCO. Origin...

Had bubble milk tea today after like 2 months of lockdown. Wah. I'm no longer a crazy big fan of bubble milk tea like I used to be but it's like drinking ice water on a hot sunny day.  It actually was when I drank it while ordering Japanese food take-away otw home from work hahahahahahaha ok fine. I drove like it was my grandfather's road otw home wow there's so little cars~ if only it was like that on normal days hahaha. Shows I've binged watch throughout MCO: 1. Brooklyn 99 (series) - It was hilarious the first few seasons. Omg I love Rosa and Gina their characters are so idiotic it's so funny. Then I lost interest as Jake's relationship develops HAHAHA sorry I can never finish watching shows with too many seasons. My attention span is very short I'm forever distracted by other things. 2. Terrace House: Tokyo (series) - IT STARTED OUT SO GOOD AND THEN IT WENT DOWNHILL...

I'm going to have a mental breakdown for having nothing to do for a bloody month in this lockdown. Yes I do have work to do but not much because drafting's the major issue now. Engineers don't do drafting in my office. If I was still in my ex-company, I'd probably die from stress instead because I have to do both design and drafting lol. Anyway. It's day 9 of lockdown! I'm at home alone with my parents. Sisters are living in their own units. I literally took the car keys after they announced lockdown so my parents would stay put at home. But my dad had to go to work on day 2 (okay fine) and my mum diedie wanted to go to the market to seeseelooklook on what's fresh. Don't know which part of "stay at home" didn't she understand in PM's speech. She even had the audacity to tell me she drank kopi in the market already!!!!!!!! Without bothering to wear a mask!!!! And wore the same clothes again after she showered!! ...

Update!!!!!! I did not conduct the presentation. The software had problems on the very same day I had to present LOLOLOL. IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!! There was a technical issue with the license and our IT guy had to contact the software technicians. Then when it was fixed, the seniors were already on leave. So I did not do the presentation. Hopefully everyone forgets about it already lolol. --------------------------------------------------------------------- I got a folding bike!!!! RM170 from Carousell! Great catchhhhh although I needed to fork out extra for the bicycle lock and tyre pump. I'm going to cycle from my house to the MRT to get to my office. I stopped the gym membership by the way. Because it's a bit pricey and I don't want to wake up so freaking early anymore HAHAH. I NEED MY SLEEP. 7 HOURS IS NOT ENOUGH FOR ME. I NEED 8. And if I don't take the train that early, it means that it's pretty difficult to get a par...
